Memorial

West Tilbury Village Hall was built as a memorial for those men of the village who gave their lives in the Great War 1914 to 1918.  Their names are listed on the memorial tablet in St. James' church, which is now a private residence.  A full list, along with those who died in World War 2, is on display in the hall.
